Rainy day in Acadia
This morning we woke up early to beat the crowds. We ate breakfast at Jordans in Bar Harbor.

It was the perfect little diner style restaurant.
Bar Harbor is such a picturesque town. We were almost the only ones there early this morning.
After breakfast, we drove the Loop Road in the National Park. Since it was early and raining it was practically empty.

Thunder Hole wasn’t producing much of a show this morning. I think the culprit was that it was low tide.
We attempted two bike rides. Callie and Brody didn’t let us get too far. We’ve got to get rid of their training wheels.

Even though we didn’t go as far as we wanted, we saw some beautiful views.
This evening I made seafood chowder. The clams and lobster were from Jason’s friend, Sid, who works at the Honeywell site in Prince Edward Island.

This is looking like a great time!
