Clark’s Birthday in PEI

Clark spent his 8th birthday in Prince Edward Island! To celebrate we went out to eat for breakfast. We ate at a little coffee shop in the Avonlea Village.

The Avonlea Village had just been built last time I visited in 1999. It was neat to see it years later. The trees are bigger and the structures are more settled in now, making it look more like the Avonlea in the Anne books.

After breakfast, we went to an amusement park. Clark wanted to ride bumper cars on his birthday.

The tilt a whirl scared Katy! She was almost in tears. But the other kids loved it.

When we got back to the campsite, it was raining. So, we decided to do some arts and crafts in the activity room. They loved playing dress up there also.

Tonight is our last night in PEI. It was a perfect night for a campfire. The weather was overcast and chilly.
